Acceptable but Far From Perfect

The free parking on the premises was convenient.
My room was quite hot, and the provided fan barely moved the air. The furniture looked like it had been rescued from a skip. It was quite dated. The breakfast service was also very slow. I waited almost thirty minutes for my meal. The car park was tiny, and I found the system they used to squeeze cars in somewhat stressful.

electrical hazardrunning water
I found a metal pin sticking out of one of the plug sockets. I told reception, but they said they couldn't do anything. it was like a real electrical hazard, especially since i was traveling with my toddler. the socket was at his height, and that added to my worries. also, the toilet flushed nonstop in the middle of the night. It was very loud. i had to take the lid off the cistern and manually stop the running water.

i liked the warm welcome upon arrival. staff helped me with my luggage, that was really helpful. breakfast had a tasty selection and the room had a lovely view. well kept, I really liked that.
the sink in the bathroom had separate taps for hot and cold water, mixing the water temperature was not easy. that was very inconvenient.
